Inquiry

I haven't blogged in awhile now, but it's because once classes start, my life revolves around my friends and school. However, my friends have been telling me that they've been wanting me to blog now so I decided to do it today. I don't know why I decided to do it today since, today is the most stressful day of the semester for me so far, but I guess it's a way of relieving stress.

Anyways.. here's a recap of the past month of my life. For a more detailed recap visit my facebook and look at the pictures :)

Started my Spring Semester of my Junior year of college, one of my best friends Katie got engaged and is getting married in march!!!! and thats pretty much it. oh we had a whole week of school off because it snowed in dallas... it was horrible and now i feel like school is barely starting and the professors are freaking out and putting a bunch of work on us because they don't know what to do.

I can't wait for my friend to come visit this week! tomorrow actually!!! i miss her so much!!!!!

2010: good or bad?

I know I'm a little late to about 2010 but, I feel like I have to... or maybe it's cause I want to :)

2010 was a year of many tears for me ... or ... I guess one would say a "KRAY" year ... I did say it was the worst year ever, however, writing this post made me realize that I focused too much on the bad moments of '10 that I didn't really focus on the good memories.

I made the year seem like one of the worst years but in reality it was also one of those years I could never forget.  Even if I experienced a lot of pain such as heartbreak, death, loss of friendships, unnecessary drama, etc. Those are the experiences that made me grow into a stronger and better person. No matter how many tears I shed, I still had fun with old friends, those ties were strengthened, met new people, made new friends, made new lasting friendships, broke out of my shell and tried new and crazy things but at the same time it was the year I started to mature.

There are some moments I would like to take back or wish that had never happened, but there will always be moments like those no matter where you are or when. Things happen for a reason right? I guess in a way I'm thankful that these things happened because it didn't change me for the worst it changed me for the better.

Three important lessons (out of many) learned in 2010:

1. drinking until you're about to die is NOT FUN for you or the people around you

2. when a friend comes to you in confidence with a secret, VALUE that friendship and don't take advantage of that secret and tell another person.

3. (this may be a naive way of thinking) don't judge people for what they do or who they surround themselves with because you may not know them and they might just be great people with big hearts

However, here's to a new and greater year!!! Hopefully there won't be as many tears shed this year ;)

F.I.N.A.L.L.Y

After a month of all talk about creating a blog. I FINALLY MADE ONE!!!!!! :) I still don't know what i'm going to blog about but I guess we'll see over time.
Maybe life lessons, new music, dumb drama (everyone loves to hear about drama...NOT), etc.

On another note, it's SNOWING in EL PASO!!! The weather is so weird, yesterday it was literally 70 degrees and today its snowing.
